Tapping Solution for Kids

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is often called ‘tapping’ or ‘psychological acupuncture’. It’s brief techniques combining elements of exposure and cognitive therapy, and somatic stimulation and uses a two-finger tapping process with a mental statement.

I just got a question from a reader about doing EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) with children.  I thought about it for several days, because I don’t feel like a pro in doing EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques)

As schools move to teaching and learning online, parents are trying to figure out how to support their children’s academic work while keeping everyone in the household sane.

Parents are stress, too, whether worrying about their kids losing learning time, or high-stakes exams that may or may not take place, or how to facilitate their children’s learning at home.

Homework is no different than piano lessons. As a part of the daily routine, study sessions should go on the calendar. Make sure it is a time that fits both of your schedules but is early enough in the evening that your teen will be able to stay focused.

Is your little one tired of being at home?

They are no more lonely than other children, and they make as many friends as children with siblings,” she says. Having an only child is not all rosy, though.

Don’t underestimate this everyday activity’s ability to keep your children busy for the day.   “Everyone gets a book and piles on the big bed, and we each ‘read’ quietly. Some of us are reading, some are looking at pictures, and I ‘read’ with my eyes closed.”

The physical exhaustion of parenthood is, tightly couple to mental fatigue: in fact, it’s difficult to separate the two. The very act of taking care of a child can be draining on many levels — emotionally, cognitively, and psychologically.

Is your little one showing signs of frustration?

In response to frustration, they can:

  1. Get angry.
  2. Give up or quit.
  3. Lose self-esteem.
  4. Feel a loss of self-confidence.
  5. Experience stress.
  6. Feel sad, uncertain, depressed, or anxious.
  7. Turn to substance abuse.
  8. Engage in another negative, self-destructive or addictive behaviors.

ANGER: There is a saying “Frustration begets anger and anger begets aggression”. Direct anger, aggression, and frustration are express toward the object perceive as the cause of the disappointment. An angry person often acts without thinking. The person has given in to the disappointment, and they have given up restraint. It is essential to know that this is entirely normal.
